The federal government shut down does not affect operations at Glen Echo Park. The Park is open, and our arts programs are continuing as usual; however, National Park Service monthly tours are on hold until further notice. Although the Park is located within a treasured National Park, the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture is not federally funded.

  • RESIDENT ARTISTS & ORGANIZATIONS

Glen Echo Park is home to twelve resident artists/organizations and a nature & aquatic life program. Each of these organizations and individuals is a key partner in our mission to bring the arts to life in the Park!

Several of our residents artists have shared short messages about what they or their studios are doing during these challenging times. Check out the series, A Word from Our Resident Artists, here >>

Watch Glassworks director and instructor Paul Swartwood teach Tommy McFly of NBC4 Washington how to blow glass! See the feature that aired Dec. 19, 2022.
