Ballroom Time’s annual holiday party. Beginner lesson in Rumba at 2:45 PM.  Live music by the Janet Paulsen Orchestra  from 3:30 until 6:00.  The music covers a variety of ballroom dance styles: Slow Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz, Rumba, Bachata, Cha-Cha, Samba, Mambo, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Merengue, and more.  DJ Broomtime will add music during the intermissions.  There will be a mixer and optional line dancing whenever a Samba plays.

Join Gottaswing for the jewel in the crown of their BACK IN TIME weekend with PAUL COSENTINO’S BOILERMAKER JAZZ BAND featuring NAOMI UYAMA, spotlighting the music of Benny Goodman and Artie Shaw, two of the greatest clarinet players of the Swing Era. Naomi Uyama will sing classic melodies originally performed by vocalists like Helen Forrest, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, and more.

Gottaswing presents three great workshops designed to kick your dancing up a notch:

• 12noon-1pm: Mixing Rhythms, $30/door, $20/advance
• 1:15-2:15pm: Charleston Mash-Up, $30/door, $20/advance
• 2:30-4pm: Performance Routine (Partner required; will be performed at the dance that evening!), $35/door, $25/advance
