Ballroom Time celebrates its third anniversary with a special $3 dance! Beginner lesson in East coast swing at 2:45 PM.  Music by DJ Broomtime (our volunteers) from 3:30 until 6:00.  The music covers a variety of ballroom dance styles: Slow Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz, Rumba, Bachata, Cha-Cha, Samba, Mambo, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Merengue, and more.  During the afternoon there will be a mixer and some samba line dancing.

8:00 - 9:00 pm Lesson | 8:00 pm - 12:00 am: Social Dance

The annual Waltz Ball is a benefit for the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture. Live music from 9 pm to midnight by OLDE VIENNA with Alexander Mitchell (viola/violin), Elke Baker (viola/violin), Susan Brandt (flute), Dave Wiesler (piano), Ralph Gordon (string bass.)

The lesson (included with admission) helps dancers prepare for the uptempo Viennese waltzes. The dance includes a spectacular Grand March! For an extra fee, dancers can ride the Carousel which will be running during the early part of the dance! Formal or dressy attire is suggested but not required. Light refreshments provided.

Admission is $30 per person ($20 full-time student with ID) payable by cash, credit card, check, Venmo, or Paypal. The lesson is recommended for age 12 and older. No partner necessary and ALL are welcome.

Join us for square dancing at Glen Echo Park! We'll start out with a square dance intro lesson for all skill levels from 2:45pm - 3pm. Then, a caller will lead a rousing square dance along with live music! The band will play from 3pm - 5:30pm so get ready for big square dancing fun that still gets you home early. No partner or special attire required. Shoes with backs are recommended (no flip flops).

Join Friday Night Dancers for a LATE NIGHT Techno Contra from 11pm to 1am after the regular dance! Dance the night away to electronic music, thumping beats, and low lighting.

The caller will be Qwill Duvall, and the DJ will be DJ Improper.
