DC Casineros hosts a Cuban Dance Class and Social!

You may have danced with DC Casineros at the Bumper Car Pavilion during the Social Dance Showcase in 2023. Come join this amazing group in the Back Room of the Ballroom and dance Rueda de Casino!

Introducing a wide array of Cuban popular Dances and structures that are also rooted in Afro-Cuban, Afro-Caribbean, and French/English contradances, participants will be able to connect group dances from different traditions!

After the lesson, caller Will Mentor will lead a rousing square dance along with live music presented by Stomp Rocket!

No partner or special attire required. Shoes with backs are recommended (no flip flops).

Bachata, a playful Latin dance originating from the Dominican Republic, is known for its close partner interaction with fast footwork, sensual hip movement and body isolation. Bachata music combines electric guitar with Caribbean and Latin influences.

But wait! There's more! We'll also dance Salsa, Merengue, Kizomba, y más!

Join us for a night of passionate connection and pure dance bliss. Whether you're a seasoned pro or taking your first steps, our vibrant community will welcome you with open arms (and smooth moves). Expect friendly faces and effortless connection; No partner? No problem! We rotate partners and foster a warm, inclusive atmosphere. All levels welcome, ages 18+!
