    Dance for PD®

    In partnership with Dance for PD (Parkinson's Disease), the Glen Echo Park Partnership presents a pilot Dance for PD® class series at Glen Echo Park. Classes are FREE for participants, care partners, and family members thanks to the support of the program's donors.

    Dates: Meeting on Wednesdays (January 7, 14, 21 & 28; February 4, 11, 18 & 25)

    About Dance for PD®
    Launched as a partnership between Mark Morris Dance Group and the Brooklyn Parkinson Group 25 years ago, this program offers over 500 acclaimed dance classes each week for people with Parkinson’s Disease, in more than 250 communities and 30 countries.  These research-backed classes harness the benefits of dance to transform lives and enhance well-being for people living with Parkinson's. Dance for PD® Mid-Atlantic is a regional hub of Dance for PD, collaborating with numerous partners under the leadership of Certified Dance for PD teacher Lucy Bowen. Glen Echo Park is very pleased to be joining these partners and offering this free class series.

    Accessible Parking Information

    Permit Parking Lot at 7300 MacArthur Blvd, Glen Echo, MD 20812.  Drive through the permit parking lot to reach the accessible spaces, which are located near the iconic Glen Echo Park neon sign. A parking permit is not required to use the accessible parking spaces. This location is the closest to Park facilities. FREE parking in this lot. 

    Main Parking Lot at 5801 Oxford Road, Glen Echo, MD 20812. Search "Glen Echo Park Parking" in Google Maps. In this large parking lot, the accessible spaces are located close the entrance to the Park. FREE parking in this lot.
