    3pm - 5pm

    Waltz time
    Description

In addition to the one-hour Viennese waltz lesson offered as part of the Strauss ball on April 29, Waltz Time is offering 2-hour Viennese Waltz Workshop on Saturday, April 15. This class in the basics of social Viennese waltz will give everyone a chance to learn the skills of this challenging, exhilarating dance form. The workshop runs from 3-5pm in the Spanish Ballroom and costs $20 per person (cash, no credit cards). Instructors are Todd and Migle, accomplished dancers who have taught hundreds of dance camps and workshops, and love sharing social dance skills. They have performed solo at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna, the Kennedy Center, the Austrian Embassy, and the White House. Partner not required but would help maintain lead/follow balance. Class pre-registration is not required but early arrival at the ballroom is strongly encouraged (doors open 2:30pm).
