    Join us over Labor Day weekend, as we host an OPEN HOUSE FOR CLASSES on Saturday, September 4, to introduce adults and children to the wide range of visual and performing arts classes being offered at the Park this fall. The Open House will take place from 12 pm to 4 pm and will feature several hands-on activities and demonstrations; visitors will also be able to view resident artists at work in their studios.

    In partnership with the Carousel Organ Association of America (COAA), join us for a band organ rally on the grounds of Glen Echo Park. You may be familiar with the carousel's Wurlitzer 165 band organ, but this is a great opportunity to learn about and hear different types of organs - large and small! Visitors can check in at the Partnership's tent on Saturday or Sunday to receive a free passport book and receive a stamp at each of the organs they've visited. Visit all of them and complete the passport to receive a free prize! Be sure to stay for the small organ concert in the Cuddle Up at 2pm both Saturday and Sunday.

    50th Annual Labor Day Art Show

    Description

    Join us for the 50th Annual Labor Day Art Show in the historic Spanish Ballroom from Saturday, September 4 through Monday, September 6, 2021 from 12pm to 6pm. 

    The exhibition features the work of more than 200 artists from the mid-Atlantic region. The show includes works in a wide range of artistic media, including: sculpture, painting and drawing, ceramics, glass, jewelry, fiber arts, photography, furniture, and works on paper.

    BACC's Juneteenth Celebration

    Join the Bethesda African Cemetery Coalition (BACC), in collaboration with Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture, for BACC's annual Juneteenth Celebration, held this year in the Park's Bumper Car Pavilion. The event will include African food, dance, music, history, and poetry. And free ice cream! 

    The Glen Echo Park carousel will be open until 4pm on Juneteeth. ($2 per ride)
