OPENING RECEPTION | NEW EVERYTHING, NEW

    6:00pm - 8:00pm

    A colorful collage artwork
    Description

The Park View Gallery presents New Everything, New, a solo exhibition by artist Winston W. Harris. Join us Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 6pm to 8pm for the Opening Reception.

Artist Winston W. Harris’ solo show New Everything, New at the Park View Gallery consists of artworks produced during the artist’s Key-Holder Artists in Residency at the Pyramid Atlantic Art Center from 2022-2023, as well as works created during an artist workshop at the Martin Luther King Jr Library in Washington, DC from 2024-2025. The works on display focus on detailed images embedded into full scale art pieces where geometric shapes are cropped and enlarged into individual formats. Harris' artistic practice involves experimenting with different printmaking techniques, and transforming 2D prints into 3D print sculptures using hand-pulled and digital prints produced in a contemporary printmaking format. The show explores the artist’s evolution as a printmaker and ideas about American culture from different perspectives. Harris aims to motivate, inspire, and educate viewers. This body of work is a visual testimony and a tribute to the technical processes and techniques the artist utilizes in creating these powerful images.
