This exhibition showcases the work of our very talented Photoworks faculty. For photographers considering a class at Photoworks, the exhibit and artist talk will be a good introduction to the programs available this Spring and Summer. The photographs represent our range of classes, they are analog and digital, black and white and color, beginner through advanced. See their photographs below and enjoy the warmth of our instructors. 

This exhibition runs through February 27th and the gallery is open Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4pm. There is an artist talk at 7pm on Tuesday, January 25th on Zoom.

The show is an online exhibition from Glen Echo Photoworks juried by the renowned photographer, Sharon Farmer. Official/Unofficial Washington DC challenges our assumptions about the nation’s capital, juxtaposing iconic images from the halls of political power with more intimate photographs of daily life in the District of Columbia. The exhibit portrays a complex and exceptional city in which the official and the unofficial co-exist, and sometimes clash, in extraordinary ways. This talk will be held on Zoom.
