Tuesday, January 27, 2026 (5pm) – Glen Echo Park will open at 12pm on Wednesday, January 28. All classes, performances, and events beginning before 12pm are cancelled. (Dance for PD, which would begin at 2:30pm is also cancelled.) Activities starting at 12pm or later will take place as scheduled. If an individual instructor must cancel a class during open hours, they will contact students directly. Cancelled in-person classes will be made up at a later date. The Partnership Office will also open at 12pm. Please note that due to the snow and ice some portions of the parking lot may be inaccessible for parking, and we ask that visitors use caution when walking into and throughout the Park. Decisions about park closures are made each day by 7am for daytime activities and at 3pm for evening activities, and our hotline (301.320.2330) and website are updated accordingly.

OPERATING HOURS

The grounds of Glen Echo Park are open from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. daily.

The Park is closed on Christmas Day and Thanksgiving. Activities at the Park are year-round, except for the carousel, which operates from May (sometimes the last weekend of April) through September.

Partnership Office

Offices of the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture are located on the second floor of the Arcade Building in Room 210. The office is open Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and closed Sundays.

Popcorn Gallery & Stone Tower Gallery

The Popcorn Gallery is located on the first floor of the Arcade Building, across from the carousel. The Stone Tower Gallery is located on the first floor of the Stone Tower, which is next to the Glen Echo Park neon sign.

Hours: Saturday & Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Park View Gallery

The Park View Gallery is located on the second floor of the Arcade Building.

Hours: Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
