Waltz Time presents a waltz dance with live music by SOUNDRISE with David Knight (fiddle), Ellen Gira (cello), Liz Donaldson (piano).

Sunday afternoon dances cost $15 per person, $5 for students and children over 5 years. We accept cash and checks (no credit cards). Admission includes the 45-minute lesson from 2:45 - 3:30 pm. The dance to live music goes from 3:30 - 6 pm.

At our Sunday Waltzes, our bands play other folk dances in addition to waltz, including polka, hambo, and schottis. You may have wondered where you can learn these dances. Wonder no more! In addition to the regular beginning waltz lesson, Waltz Time is offering a workshop on hambo at our December 15th waltz, taught by Dan Kahn and Katherine Anderson. Like the beginning lesson, this workshop is included in the cost of a dance ticket. This workshop will run in the Ballroom Back Room, in parallel to the beginner folk waltz lesson. We will make sure the band plays several hambo that day so you can enjoy your new skill!

At our Sunday Waltzes the bands play several folk dances in addition to waltz, such as polkas, hambos, and schottis, and you may have wondered where you can learn them. Wonder no more! Waltz Time is offering a schottis workshop, taught by Dan Kahn and Katherine Anderson, as part of our October 20^th waltz. The workshop will be taught in the Ballroom Back Room from 2:45pm - 3:30pm. No extra cost – this workshop is included in your entrance fee for the waltz that day. We will make sure the band plays several schottis during the afternoon so you can enjoy your new skill.
