With almost a dozen members, the band draws on a wide variety of influences, ranging from Ray Charles and James Brown, to ZZ Top and The Tower of Power. Their main focus is the tight, five-piece horn section featuring trumpeter/arranger Tony Murtha, whose work has been featured on American Idol, the NFL Super Bowl Halftime Show, and the Disney Channel.

[In the Park & Live Streamed] Enjoy an evening of live Russian music with the Washington Balalaika Society. An ensemble of the Washington Balalaika Society, a community-based orchestra of 55 musicians, will play the music of Russia and Eastern European countries on traditional folk instruments including the balalaika and domra.

The James Bazen Big Band plays a variety of big band jazz from the repertoire of Duke Ellington, Stan Kenton, Gordon Goodwin, Bob Mintzer, Bob Florence, Count Basie, plus original arrangements and compositions.

[In the Park & Live Streamed] Enjoy an evening of live latin jazz music with The United States Marine Band's Latin Jazz Ensemble. “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band’s mission is to perform for the President of the United States and the Commandant of the Marine Corps. Founded in 1798 by an Act of Congress, the Marine Band is America’s oldest continuously active professional musical organization. Today, “The President’s Own” is celebrated for its role at the White House and its dynamic public performances, totaling more than 500 annually.

[In the Park & Live Streamed] Enjoy an evening of live swing music with Mike Surratt and ECB. The average music lover doesn't listen to only one music genre/style. Why should a band only play one type of music? ECB can not answer that question. ECB wants you to enjoy a wide spectrum of fun dance music. This band can take you on a journey to the grand ballrooms that had the music of Glenn Miller, the sock-hops that rocked around the clock, through a doorway into the 60's and 70's, and finally ending up on a sunset beach listening to summertime boardwalk sounds or tropical Caribbean rhythms.

[In the Park & Live Streamed] Enjoy an evening of live African music with Amadou Kouyate. Amadou has dedicated his life to the task of become an ambassador of African culture to the world. The catalyst for such a responsibility is the passion he has for reconnecting those of the African Diasporas to one another. His repertoire ranges from traditional songs from the 13th century to contemporary original compositions incorporating blues and jazz riffs.
