Photo Matters is a  new, free, monthly meeting hosted by Steve Greenberg. Photo Matters is a place where people can come and discuss all things photographic. Photoworks instructors will be invited to talk about their class offerings. Participants will be welcome to show their work, but formal critiques will NOT be offered; that will be reserved for our Coffee and Critique Sessions.

Join us as we welcome photographer, Messay Shoakena, for an artist talk and demonstration of his photographic practice. Through his travels to various countries, Shoakena has developed a strong appreciation of different cultures and their beauty which he shares through his street photography work.

Come join us as we learn from a critique of Gordon Parks’ style and learn more about his life through, “A Choice of Weapons: Inspired by Gordon Parks”.
