  • PARK VIEW GALLERY | LESLEY CLARKE & HERNAN MURNO, TRANSCENDING TIME: EXPLORING THE BEAUTY OF LANDSCAPES AND LANDMARKS

    April 5 | 10:00 am

    10:00am - 6:00pm

    Lesley Clarke and Hernan Murno
    Description

The Park View Gallery presents Transcending Time: Exploring the Beauty of Landscapes and Landmarks, a two-person exhibition by artists Lesley Clarke and Hernan Murno. Their work employs transformative artistic techniques to capture and highlight the beauty of both celebrated and forgotten landmarks, including old structures and abandoned buildings. These landmarks remind us of our connection to the past and the importance of preserving them against natural decay and human destruction. Nature has the power to both nurture and destroy, just as humans can both demolish and rebuild. As artists, Clarke and Murno explore the sense of loss these structures evoke, creating a dialogue between human-made and natural forces.

STONE TOWER GALLERY | ROWENA FEDERICO FINN, PIECED/PIERCED

    April 27 | 12:00 pm

    12:00pm - 6:00pm

    Rowena Federico Finn
    Description

The Stone Tower Gallery presents Pieced/Pierced, a solo exhibition by artist Rowena Federico Finn. This show explores the tension between fragility and resilience, tradition and transformation. The act of piercing—through shells, fabric, and canvas—mirrors the way identity is shaped by both pain and precision, with each stitch binding together fractured histories. Like her quilts, Finn’s life and experiences have been carefully pieced together, creating a narrative that is both personal and universal. Through this work, Finn examines what it means to mend, to break, and to redefine belonging.
