Description
The Popcorn Gallery presents Power of Place: Art and the Semi-Quincentennial, juried by Amy Kaslow. As communities across the country engage in a national conversation regarding 250 years of American history, this exhibition offers a space to consider how land, home, migration, and environment shape personal and collective narratives. From landscapes and cityscapes to intimate interiors and ancestral homelands, we asked artists: How does place hold power in your story? The selected works in the exhibit challenge, honor, question, and reimagine the meaning of place in America today.
