    8:00pm: Lesson | 9:00pm - midnight: Swing Dance

    D.C. Lindy Exchange (DCLX) is pleased to bring you a February DCLXtra with the Craig Gildner Big Band!

    We want to warm you up! We want to warm you up from this chilly weather by encouraging you to dance. And we want to warm you up for DCLX 2026 by hosting a DCLXtra featuring one of DC’s very own gems, Craig Gildner. Craig is a dancer’s musician and bandleader, and he’ll be bringing a big band for a night you don’t want to miss. 

    We will have a beginner lesson for those who are new or who want to review their basics in the Spanish Ballroom 8:00pm - 9:00pm, free with admission.

    AND! A special all-levels class from 8:00pm - 9:00pm before the dance! Terrific Tuck Turns with Annabel and Michael Quisao. Come play with Tuck Turns! Explore beyond the Tuck Turn you already know: variations in rhythms, connection, direction. You’ll never see Tuck Turns the same way again! In the Ballroom Back Room, free with admission.
