CHOREO Rhythm & Flow: Introduction to Choreography
Join us at Glen Echo Park for the first in our new series of FREE workshops for children and teens to introduce you to the world of dance choreography! Many thanks to Elinor Coleman and David Sparkman for sponsoring this new free program! Light snacks (nut-free) and water will be provided. Pre-Registration is required.
Take Class. Get Skillz. Make it. Show it.
Salsa Dance! It’s as easy as 1-2-3…4!
This FREE workshop starts with an open-level salsa dance technique class taught by DMV area artist Gustavo Ramallo of Azucar, George Mason University's Salsa Club. Next Gustavo will teach you basic skills for building your own choreography. Finally you will break out in groups to work on a short choreographic assignment.
Each group will show their choreography to the rest of the participants, with opportunity for feedback from the instructor and reactions from your peers!
