The federal government shut down does not affect operations at Glen Echo Park. The Park is open, and our arts programs are continuing as usual; however, National Park Service monthly tours are on hold until further notice. Although the Park is located within a treasured National Park, the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture is not federally funded.

Description
Come see art through the medium of glass on display at the Art Glass Center
The Art Glass Center at Glen Echo is a school, resource center, and gallery for kiln-formed glass serving the Washington metropolitan area.
The center is directed by glass artists-in-residence who are committed to both teaching and creating art. These artists, as well as other faculty, teach classes at the center that range from beginning kiln-formed glass to master classes for advanced students. Classes include fusing, kiln casting, mosaics, jewelry, and venetian glass bead making.
