The federal government shut down does not affect operations at Glen Echo Park. The Park is open, and our arts programs are continuing as usual; however, National Park Service monthly tours are on hold until further notice. Although the Park is located within a treasured National Park, the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture is not federally funded.

    Description

The Popcorn Gallery presents Surroundings, a group exhibition on view from January 14 - February 19, 2023. Our surroundings can serve as a source of comfort and familiarity. But a sudden change in one's environment can be disruptive and disorienting, although in some cases it leads to new perspectives and opportunities. Glen Echo Park Partnership Galleries invited artists to submit art that investigates the impact our environment has on identity and experiences.
