    LABOR DAY ART SHOW

    The 52nd Annual Labor Day Art Show at Glen Echo Park will be held in the historic Spanish Ballroom from Saturday, September 2 through Monday, September 4, 2023 from 12pm to 6pm.
     

    Presented by the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture, the exhibition and sale — one of the largest art shows in the area — runs from 12 pm to 6 pm each day. Admission is free. The exhibition features the work of more than 300 artists from the mid-Atlantic region. The show includes works in a wide range of artistic media, including:

    • Sculpture
    • Painting and Drawing
    • Ceramics
    • Glass
    • Jewelry
    • Fiber Arts
    • Photography
    • Furniture
    • Works on paper

    2023 Labor Day Art Show Awards

    Glen Echo Park Partnership is proud to present the Labor Day Art Show Awards Program. Cash prizes of $250 each will be awarded for top works in the 2D and 3D categories. In addition, the Park View Artist Award 2023 will include the opportunity for a solo art exhibition for our selected winner in our Park View Gallery in 2024. All participants qualify to be considered. The award selection is subject to the judges’ discretion.

    Judge: Tom Doyle

    Tom Doyle is an educator and artist based in Washington, DC. He received his BFA in ceramics and Masters of Arts in Teaching from Maryland Institute College of Art. He creates functional and sculptural work made of clay, wood, and everyday construction materials.
