    Call for Artwork

The Glen Echo Park Partnership Galleries is pleased to announce a call for artwork for the show Surroundings, on view from January 14 - February 19, 2023 in the Popcorn Gallery.

Our surroundings can serve as a source of comfort and familiarity. But a sudden change in one's environment can be disruptive and disorienting, although in some cases it leads to new perspectives and opportunities.

Glen Echo Park Partnership Galleries invites artists to submit art that investigates the impact our environment has on identity and experiences. Themes can include place, identity, origins, routine, displacement, immigration, natural and manmade environments.

We encourage artists of all media to apply. Open to artists ages 21 and above. Artists may submit up to three original artworks for consideration by December 30, 2022 at 11:59 pm via JotForm. Artwork that was displayed in the Partnership galleries in the last two years will not be accepted. We look forward to your submissions.

Questions may be directed to Kristina King, Exhibitions & Gallery Coordinator, gallery@glenechopark.org
