    The Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture presents Pride Month programming throughout the month of June, highlighting LGBTQ+ artists and celebrating togetherness as a community. 


    Pride Month 2026 Programming

    Bumper Car Squares  (Monthly | Upcoming: Sunday, June 7, 2026 *Celebrating Pride*) | FREE for kids, $5-15 for adults & teens

    Join us for square dancing at Glen Echo Park!  Do-si-do and swing your partner while celebrating Pride at an afternoon Bumper Car Squares dance. We'll start out with a square dance intro lesson for all skill levels from 2:45pm - 3pm. Then, caller Katie Stahl will lead a rousing square dance to live music from the Bach Bui Trio! The band will play from 3pm - 5:30pm so get ready for big square dancing fun that still gets you home early.

    No partner or special attire required. Shoes with backs are recommended (no flip flops).

    No need to worry about the weather! This dance takes place in the climate-controlled Ballroom Back Room.

    DC's Different Drummers is DC's LGBTQ+ community music organization. The DCDD Jazz Band is a 25 piece big band that plays in a variety of styles.

    Glen Echo Park is proud to emphasize diversity in its programming throughout the year. Recent LGBTQ+ exhibitions, dances, and performances include:  

    DC Rawhides Dances | Dates Vary | Bumper Car Pavilion

    Throughout the year, DC Rawhides hosts LGBTQ+ country western dances in the Bumper Car Pavilion at Glen Echo Park. DC Rawhides is a 501(c)(3) organization, committed to ensuring that the tradition of same-sex country dancing in the Washington DC area lives on. They present inclusive, diverse, affirming, fun, high energy LGBTQ+ dances, where all are welcome, structured so all levels of dancers, including beginners, can participate.

    A showing of beautiful, joyful photos of trans and nonbinary adults and children, selected by a panel of trans youth. Inspiration. Aspiration. Hope. Shown in churches in Maryland and Virginia to celebrate T/NB congregants and community. Contributing photographers from London to Los Angeles including Salgu Wissmath, Octavia, Liam Wood, and Gwen Andersen.
