Free Country is the U.S. Marine Band's popular music ensemble, performing country, rock, R&B, and pop selections from the 1960s through today.

The interPLAY Orchestra is a 35-year old nonprofit music organization of adult musicians with intellectual, developmental, and other disabilities; playing alongside amateur and professional musicians, and high school and university students known as “Bandaides”. All perform together for the community in year-round concerts at the world-class Music Center at Strathmore. We feature a full orchestra, small ensembles, choral groups and soloists, working with percussion and other traditional instruments, and playing a variety of musical genres.

The Natty Beaux is a rockin’ and boppin’ combo featuring musicians from some of the Mid-Atlantic’s finest groups. Audiences can’t sit still when they hear ‘em play foot-tappin’ numbers from Louis Prima, Ray Charles, Louis Jordan, Gene Vincent, Bobby Darin, Elvis, Nat King Cole, Jerry Lee Lewis and other greats.

James Bazen Big Band is an 18-piece big band that plays a wide variety of energetic jazz and swing. In addition to originals, the orchestra plays innovative compositions from Stan Kenton, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Gordon Goodwin, Bob Mintzer, Buddy Rich and more.

Born of a mutual passion for the deep, down home sounds of an earlier time, eight-piece band King Soul is bringing the excitement of old school Southern Soul to a new audience. The allstar band includes members of the Slickee Boys, the Rhodes Tavern Troubadours, the Recliners, the Grandsons, the Hula Monsters, the Thangs and the J Street Jumpers. King Soul’s membership holds more than 30 Washington Area Music Association Wammies and Austin Music Awards to its credit.

From Baltimore to Central Texas, Arty Hill packs the bars and dance floors with his unique brand of modern Honky Tonk. He sings with an "'everyman' quality…reminiscent of Johnny Cash." (Vintage Guitar magazine). His songs marry wry storytelling with the soul of classic country.
