Cooling Off: Autumnal Scenes

The Glen Echo Park Galleries invite artists in the DC metro area to submit artwork for consideration for the show Cooling Off: Autumnal Scenes on view from September 9-October 9, 2022 in the Popcorn gallery.

Autumn is the cooling off season, marking the transition from summer to winter. The harvest, lowering temperatures, darkening nights, and changing leaves signal the arrival of autumn. It also tends to be mellow and calm during this period of time, and the beauty of the season offers fresh creative inspiration. For this show, artists are invited to submit artworks that capture the spirit of the autumn season. Open to artists ages 21 and above.

Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture, Inc. will process all art sales, including collecting Maryland sales tax. GEPPAC will retain a 30% commission on work sold.

Notification of Acceptance: August 26, 2022

Artwork Drop Off: September 7, 2022

Opening Reception: September 9, 2022, 6 - 8 pm

Unsold Artwork Pick Up: October 10, 2022
