    CALL FOR ARTWORK: COMIC RELIEF

The Glen Echo Park Partnership Galleries is pleased to announce a call for artwork for the juried group show Comic Relief, on view from October 4 - November 2, 2025 in the Popcorn Gallery at Glen Echo Park.

Humor can serve as a tool for dealing with life’s greatest challenges, lightening our mood and reminding us to not take things too seriously.
Glen Echo Park Partnership Galleries invites artists to submit art that uses humor to spark joy, curiosity, and conversations. Artwork themes can include play, laughter, happiness, joy, satire, irony, whimsy, fantasy, and the absurd.

We encourage artists of all media to apply. Open to artists ages 21 and up in the DMV area. Works must be available for sale. Artists may submit up to three original artworks for consideration by September 8, 2025 at 11:59 pm via JotForm. Artwork that was displayed in the Partnership galleries in the past two years will not be accepted. We look forward to your submissions.

Questions may be directed to Kristina King, Exhibitions Manager, gallery@glenechopark.org
