• 2026 Juneteenth Events

     

    June 13 | Jubilee Voices at Kensington’s Juneteenth Celebration | 12pm - 4pm | OFFSITE

    Freedom. Culture. Community.
    Celebrate five years of honoring Black history, culture, resilience, and joy through music, food, education, and community connection. Kensington’s Fifth Annual Juneteenth Celebration is a family friendly event with activities for all ages, will bring together a multiracial coalition of organizers, historians, living history performers and portrayals, civic and faith leaders, local and Black-owned businesses, musicians, and supporters to proudly mark Juneteenth.

    Washington Revels Jubilee Voices will be offering selections from both the Main Stage for the event and throughout the booth area. The event runs from 12-4pm and takes place in St. Paul Park.

    June 19 | BACC's Annual Juneteenth Celebration | 2pm - 5pm | Bumper Car Pavilion
    Join Bethesda African Cemetery Coalition (BACC) for a Juneteenth Celebration in cooperation with the Partnership. This event is free and takes place in the Bumper Car Pavilion. Enjoy African food, dance, music, history, poetry, and free ice cream.
