Washington Conservatory of Music at Glen Echo Park

puts music “center stage” at the Park.

Since 1984, the Washington Conservatory of Music — one of 16 nationally-accredited independent community music schools in the U.S. — has served students of all ages and levels in the Greater Washington D.C. area. The Conservatory has an outstanding faculty of professional musicians.

At its Glen Echo Park location, the Conservatory offers classes, private lessons, summer camps, group ensembles, talks, weekend immersion sessions, as well as  concerts for children, teens and adults in its 65-seat recital hall. The Conservatory also sponsors the Tapestry Music Project, an outreach program providing music instruction for children of primarily immigrant families.

The Conservatory is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Pre-collegiate Arts Schools (ACCPAS), is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM), and a member of the National Guild for Community Arts Education.

The Conservatory is located in the South Arcade, next to Adventure Theatre.
