Early Childhood Instructor

The Glen Echo Park Partnership seeks an experienced, enthusiastic and creative instructor for early childhood programs for ages 1-3 with parent or caregiver.  The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of curriculum development for early childhood audiences and experience working with children and parents in an arts based environment. Duties include working in collaboration to create and implementing an arts curriculum in a classroom setting for children and families, coordinating activities with program partners, maintaining administrative records and program supplies. Applicants must have a B.A. in visual arts or education and a minimum of two years teaching experience with ages 1-5. Visual Arts Instructor

The Glen Echo Park Partnership seeks part-time instructors to provide multidisciplinary visual arts programs for children 12 and under for Saturday Art Explorers and/or Glen Echo Park Art Birthday Parties. Duties include leading visual arts activities in a classroom setting for children and/or children and families, maintaining administrative and supply records, and providing general customer service to Park patrons. Saturday Art Explorers shift hours are Saturdays, 9:30am to 1:30pm.  Art Birthday Parties are generally Saturday or Sunday afternoons, 3 to 6pm. Applicants must have a B.A. in visual arts or education and teaching experience in visual arts for ages 12 and under, as appropriate.  Must be 18 or older.  Click above for the full description and application instructions.
