This FREE workshop is for students who want to integrate their creative interests when they search for their "best fit" colleges. Learn about different college admissions pathways and determine where experts might help reduce the stress and set your student up for success.


We'll discuss:

  • Careers in visual arts, performing arts and digital media
  • Finding your “best fit” degrees, programs and colleges
  • What's changed since parents applied to college

DANCE PARTY with Soul Crackers

The Glen Echo Park Partnership presents a DANCE PARTY with the renowned Soul Crackers in the historic Spanish Ballroom. The music encompasses Memphis & Motown soul, and features timeless songs by artists like Jr. Walker, Otis Redding, and Sam & Dave. Over their 35-year career, the Soul Crackers have performed at The White House and throughout the VA, MD, DC area at notable venues.


A beginner dance lesson with Clyde Wright & Sacha Baniel-Stark will run from 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm, and is included in the cost of admission.  Following the lesson, dancing runs from 9:00 pm to midnight.
