The Glen Echo Park Partnership presents “Life Cycles: Water Media Abstracts,” featuring watercolor paintings by Bonny Lundy. Lundy’s young mind dreamed of oceans she had never seen. “Life Cycles” is an exploration of the mysteries of the sea, its shapes and movements, and its significance in our lives. Textures of tides and the unexpected forms of organisms that inhabit these waters are exposed through imagined colors, transparent passages, darkness and primitive line. These universal patterns are found in the body and soul of cultures brought together by our oceans. It is only natural to use watercolor with mixed media to express these imagined places filled with the delights that inhabit the depths.

The Glen Echo Park Partnership is pleased to present The Sound of Colors: Carl "Eugi" HallImagining the sound colors make is the foundation of Hall’s creative spirit. This exhibition explores the merging of music and art and how the former can subconsciously influence the latter. Painted in acrylic, Hall’s works in abstract realism are what he refers to as “assorted music art,” which unintentionally captures the emotions of different genres of music. The artwork is created with the intention of inviting the viewer to invoke their own imaginative storyline and to hear what they see.
