The Glen Echo Park Partnership is pleased to present Inside the Garden Walls: Botanical Art by Anne Clippinger and Joan DucoreThis exhibit offers a look into the contemporary botanical art scene. Clippinger and Ducore draw inspiration from their gardens and beyond. They strive to capture the delicacy, complexity and vibrancy found in the plant world.

Enjoy an evening of live music with the U.S. Marines Dixieland Band. The United States Marine Band, also known as "The President's Own," is made up of world-class musicians who regularly perform a wide range of music for the President and other dignitaries.

 

The Bumper Car Pavilion is completely covered; concerts will be held rain or shine. Our cafe, Praline at Glen Echo, will be open, or you can bring a picnic dinner. The Dentzel carousel will be open from 7 - 9 pm, $1.25/ride.

Capital Blues proudly presents weekly Thursday night blues dances. We rotate DJs and instructors each week to inspire and challenge you. A beginner workshop from 8:15 - 9:00 pm offers important partnering basics for new dancers. The class is included with admission; no partner necessary. Dancing runs from 9 pm to 11:30 pm to blues music from every corner of the genre. Note: the entrance to Ballroom Back Room is on far left side of Spanish Ballroom.

Told with rod puppets and wonderful special effects, the show is a real treat for princesses and princes, big and small!
