Join us in the Spanish Ballroom on Sunday afternoon for Mike’s Ballroom Blast – featuring Mike Surratt & the ECB playing a wide variety of dance music to include Foxtrot, Rumba, Samba, Mambo, Tango, Cha-Cha, Merengue, Waltz, Swing, and More! A dance lesson for all levels is presented at 3 pm, followed by dancing to wonderful live music from 3:30 - 6:00 pm. Admission includes the lesson. No partner or prior experience needed

Family Dance

The Family Dance program is a wonderful addition to the other family-oriented programs at Glen Echo Park. Spend the afternoon dancing with your children. Each of the family dances features live music and called dances from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Bring your entire family, neighbors, birthday party, and girl or boy scout troop.

Argentine Tango

Tango Brillante DC is happy to offer Argentine Tango lessons followed by a Milonga most Sunday evenings. Dancers can choose either the beginner lesson from 6:30 - 7:30 pm or the special Milonga lesson from 7:30 - 8:30 pm, or both. Cost is $15 for one lesson or $20 for both lessons - both options include the Milonga that follows. For dancers who wish to attend just the Milonga, cost is $15 and the open dance runs from 8:30 - 11:00 pm. Tonight's milonga will feature live music by Emmanuel Trifilio and Ramon Gonzalez. No partner required.

Contra and Square Dance

Presenter: Folklore Society of Greater Washington Location: Spanish Ballroom Admission: $13 nonmembers/$10 FSGW members/$5 ages 17 and under http://www.fsgw.org
The Folklore Society of Greater Washington presents traditional American contra dancing. The evening can include square dances, mixers, waltzes and other couple dances. All Contras and Square dances are taught, no partner is necessary. There is a lesson at 7 p.m., followed by the dance with caller and live music from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.
