Art Glass Center artists explore the many facets of glass in this exhibition of fine art glass. The exhibit Glass Visions and Voices 2020 reflects the endless possibilities of glass while echoing the artists’ personalities. The objects demonstrate the diversity of contemporary kiln-formed glass in form, texture, images, and abstractions with complex sculptures, wall hangings, and elegant vessels.

The Art Glass Center at Glen Echo is a school, resource center and gallery for kiln-formed glass serving the Washington metropolitan area for almost 40 years.

 

The Art Glass Center at Glen Echo is funded by an operating grant from the Maryland State Arts Council, an agency dedicated to cultivating a vibrant community where the arts thrive. This program is produced in cooperation with the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture, the National Park Service and Montgomery County, Maryland.
