The First Issue series was created during the isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020.  At home with her partner,  Angela White would often go for long walks and pick up found objects. These items would then be incorporated into her mostly white paintings or would be used to create small symbolic worlds inside cigar boxes. Both her ambient  paintings and cigar box assemblages are on display in this exhibition, paired together as to hint at their suggested meanings.
