Dance and Events Program Director

Glen Echo Park seeks a Dance and Events Program Director. Responsible for leading, managing and developing Glen Echo Park’s social dance, dance and movement instruction, and festival/concert performance programming activities. The Director will work with current dance presenters to produce events; plan Glen Echo Park-produced dances, workshops and other festivals and music events; and plan the growth of future dance and festival event programming. Part Time Spring and Summer After Camp Counselors
Glen Echo Park is seeking part time After Camp Counselors.  We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced counselors to lead and assist with After Camp programs for students ages 5-12 for our Spring Break program, March 26 – 30 and our Summer Camp programs, June 18 to August 31, 2018. Ideal candidates will have experience creating curriculum and supervising and/or working with children in a camp or class setting.  This part time position offers approximately 18-23 hours per week for the dates above, 1:45/2:45pm to 6:15pm, Monday through Friday.  Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old for the lead position and a minimum of 16 years old for an assistant position. Part Time Visual Arts Summer Camp Program Counselors
Glen Echo Park is seeking an enthusiastic Lead Counselor and Assistant Counselor to support visual arts camp programs.  Ideal candidates will have experience developing programs and/or working with children in visual arts classes or camps for ages 6 – 14. The programs are offered in weeklong sessions, Monday through Friday, 9am to 3pm.  The Lead Counselor will develop curriculum and lead instruction for the Imagine That! Art Camps for ages 6 – 10 offered July 9 – 13, July 16 – 20, and August 6 – 10.  The Assistant Counselor will support a variety of visual art camps for ages 6 – 14 from June 25 through August 17.  Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old, and the Lead Counselor must have a B.A. degree in visual arts or education. Click the job title above for the full description and application instructions.

Summer Program and Exhibition Intern
