Glen Echo Park Partnership is pleased to present Mary Belcher: Good People, Good Places.  This exhibition features watercolors by this Washington, DC artist, capturing the inspiration of individuals who've come to this area to do important political and social work.  Belcher became a full-time watercolor painter in 1996, after having worked as a newspaper reporter covering national news, and finds her work reflects her journalistic background and desire to capture countless details.  Of this collection, Belcher describes: "So many people come to our region to do good work, sometimes causing historic change. The paintings in "Good People, Good Places" depict some of the local sites that inspire me, because of the people they honor."
