The Washington Conservatory of Music is pleased to present tonight's Casual Concert "Ragtime to Rachmaninoff". Michael Adcock, piano, will be performing music of Scott Joplin, Albeniz, Ginastera, Ravel, Schubert-Liszt and Rachmaninoff .  Free - Donations at door for musician welcomed. Tango Brillante DC is pleased to present a special night of Argentine Tango with live music by Abaddón NY Tango in Glen Echo Park's historic Spanish Ballroom. Abaddon is a New York City-based tango sextet that aims to explore the vast repertoire of vibrant and passionate music from Buenos Aires, infusing it with the vitality of NYC while respecting the essence of its tradition.


Come and experience world-class music on a world-class dance floor. The Spanish Ballroom is an art deco gem that boasts a sprung hardwood floor measuring 110 feet by 70 feet. See for yourself HERE.

Dance lesson from 7:30 - 8:15 pm with instructor René Davila. Dancing from 8:30 pm - midnight. No partner required.

The Glen Echo Park Partnership presents its annual Gala in the Park, which includes a reception, gourmet dinner, award program, dancing, and carousel rides. This year's Gala theme is Crystal Gala in the Park. The Gala celebrates the 15th anniversary of the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture. This year we honor Jeffrey Z. Slavin, Co-Director, Sanford & Doris Slavin Foundation. Tickets are $200 per person and are tax-deductible above the $75 per person cost of the dinner and entertainment.

The Glen Echo Park Partnership presents our annual Gala Dance featuring live music by Craig Gildner and the Blue Sky 5! Starting at 8:15 pm, join us for a beginner dance lesson, followed by dancing from 9:15 pm - midnight.

 

This is a fundraiser and your ticket purchase helps support all of the arts programs at Glen Echo Park. Admission includes the lesson & dance, dessert, beverages, and free carousel rides.
