The Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture and the Washington Sculptors Group presents Sculpture REMIX: 2017 Craft/Technology/Art. This exhibition, juried by Allison Nance, brings together the diverse work of 20 artists from the D.C., Maryland and Virginia area in highlighting both the materials and the process. The dialogue of the show is aimed to re-establish the value and benefits associated with multi-tiered and cross discipline collaborations of artists, crafters and industrial designers. Building and constructing shared principles across these fixed boundaries has the ability to create poetic juxtapositions for cooperative projects.
